I was so shocked when I heard of your passing today. I am really sad! When I moved to work in Liverpool, you welcomed me with open arms and you made me feel at home. It didn't matter that I was from the RCN and you were from unison. You worked collaboratively with everyone. You are a shining example of what being Staff Side Chair should look like. You were passionate about defending the rights of all staff of The Walton Centre, no matter what union they were in. You always took the time to ask about my granddaughter and you always had a hug for me, even when we no longer work together. I will miss you, my dear friend. I am grateful that I got to know you.
